Al-Qaeda congratulated the Taliban on their ‘victory’ over the United States on Tuesday, and called for the ‘liberation of Kashmir and other ‘Islamic areas’ from the ‘clutches of the enemies of Islam.’ Al Qaeda sent a lengthy celebratory message in both English and Arabic hours after the United States completed the pullout of its security forces in Afghanistan.

The Taliban fighters were described as a symbol of perseverance and resistance, and the Afghan country overcame an imperialist power for the third time in two centuries, according to the report.
