The administration said on Tuesday that scheduled flight aircraft services will return to action on March 27 and will maintain the normal operating measures in place at Indian airports for international departures and arrivals. The civil aviation department has decided to restart scheduled overseas flights following a two-year ban due to coronavirus, based on a sustained drop of Covid-19 infections.
Owing to the Covid-19 epidemic, international flights operations have been halted in India from March 23, 2020. Special passenger planes have been operating between India and roughly 40 countries under bubble rules starting July 2020.
