According to data updated by the Union Health Ministry, India recorded 2,288 new coronavirus infections today, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to 4,31,07,689, while active cases fell to 19,637. According to the figures, the death toll rose to 5,24,103, including 10 new deaths.
According to the government, active cases are for 0.05 percent of total infections, with a national coronavirus recovery rate of 98.74 percent. In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload has decreased by 766 cases. According to the ministry, the daily positivity rate was 0.95 percent and the weekly positivity rate was 0.82 percent.
