As the devastation from Moscow’s assault grew, Ukraine and Russia made minimal headway in negotiations Monday but failed to achieve an agreement on building “humanitarian corridors” from ravaged cities. The third round of discussions, which aimed at providing people with escape routes from encircled towns, yielded “good outcomes,” according to Kyiv, while Russia started its objectives from the negotiations were “not met.”
Today, Ukraine agreed to Russia’s request to establish humanitarian corridors.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that he is not dispatching conscripts or reservists to participate, and that the conflict in Ukraine is being led by “professional” forces with “defined aims.”
