Former Commonwealth Champion Milkha Singh was initially discharged from Mohali Hospital after getting diagnosed with Covid-19 last month. But after 4 days, his oxygen level was seen reduced and was again admitted to Nehru Hospital Extension at Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) this Thursday.
While the 91-year-old sports star remained six days before being discharged into the Mohali hospital, Singh’s wife Nirmal Kaur still has a fluctuating oxygen need in the ICU in the Mohali hospital.
On May 24, Singh was brought to Mohali hospital after having suffered from diarrhea and dehydration aside from a lower degree of oxygen saturation and had been contracting the Covid-19-virus on May 19 last month after one cook in his Sector 8 household had been testing Covid-19.
