The outcomes of this year’s Madhyamik evaluation, which was canceled due to the pandemic, have produced numerous firsts. A 100% passing rate among 10,79,749 students.
The conclusions are based on Class IX yearly exams and an “internal formative evaluation” of Class X’s achievement. Board president Kalyanmoy Ganguly stated that merit had been considered by incorporating prior performance.
All subjects saw a significant performance improvement. Three to four times as many students received more than 90 percent in each topic, representing a 200 percent to 300 percent increase over the previous year.
Only in mathematics does the number — with a 30% increase — appear small in contrast.
