Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said his government is working to make the technology for CoWin open source. While speaking at the CoWIN Global Conclave, the PM said India has remained committed to sharing its experience, expertise, resources with global community since the start of the pandemic.
Experience shows no nation can solve challenge of Covid in isolation. We have to work together for humanity,” said PM Modi. He said Indian civilisation considers the whole world as one family and said the pandemic has made many realise “fundamental truth of this philosophy”
He called vaccination the best hope for humanity to emerge successfully from the pandemic.
That’s why we made our Covid tracing and tracking App open source as soon as it was technically feasible, the PM said.
