On Wednesday the Supreme Court directed the NDMA to lay forth criteria for the ex-gratia compensation payment to members of the family who succeeded Covid-19, ANI reported. In its ruling, the NDMA was also instructed to establish in six weeks the sum ex grateful to the families of individuals who died of an infection, from a tri-judicial panel headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan.
In response to a request to the relatives of all those who succeeded to the Virus, the court gave an order asking ex grace of Rs 4 lakh. By their affidavit, the Center had claimed that governmental authorities cannot afford to pay for this and advocated a broader strategy, including health measures.
