On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi remarked that while fossil fuels made certain countries affluent, they harmed the world and the ecosystem. The competition for fossil fuels has also produced geopolitical tensions, according to Prime Minister David Cameron, who spoke at a session on ‘accelerating clean technology innovation and deployment’ as part of the UN’s COP26 world leaders’ meeting in Glasgow, Scotland.
He said that solar energy was completely pure and sustainable, but that it was only available during the day and was weather-dependent. Laying out a plan through the ‘One Sun, One World and One Grid’ solution, the Prime Minister said, “Through a worldwide grid, clean energy can be transmitted anywhere and anytime.”
