Prime Minister Narendra Modi Inaugurates The 11th Khel Mahakumbh In Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurates the 11th Khel Mahakumbh 2022 in Gujarat at Sardar Patel Stadium. He mentions that the youth of Gujarat is enthusiastic and ready to touch the sky. “This is not only the Mahakumbh of sports but is it also the Mahakumbh of the youth power of Gujarat,” Modi speaks about the players participating. Due to the pandemic, the Mahakumbh was banned for 2 years but resumed with great vigor.

Khel Mahakumbh in Gujarat started back in 2010, an initiative taken by Narendra Modi, then Chief Minister of Gujarat. BJP’s official Twitter handle quotes PM Modi, “Today youth of the country and Gujarat are spreading their laurels in many global sports including Youth Olympics, Commonwealth, Asian Games, emerging from Khel Mahakumbh. SImilar talents are going to emerge from the midst in this Mahakumbh.”
