Nitin Gadkari recently completed a two-day inspection of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, which is set to become India’s and the world’s largest expressway. The union minister inspected the progress of the expressway construction from the air as well as on the ground during his visit. A fresh video shows the minister riding in a Kia Carnival on the freeway.

A top speed was also achieved during the test. It was, however, in a controlled environment because the route was still closed to the general public. Nitin Gadkari can be seen seated on the passenger side of the vehicle in the footage. The driver of the automobile accelerated as soon as the car hit the expressway, bringing the MPV up to about 170 mph.
