On Tuesday, India’s fuel and diesel prices were raised for the seventh time in eight days. While fuel prices jumped by 80 paise per litre, diesel prices increased by 70 paise per litre. With the new increase, fuel in Delhi is now priced at Rs 100.21 per litre, up from Rs 99.41 per litre on Monday. However, diesel in the country’s capital is going for Rs 91.47 a litre.
Fuel costs in India are updated on a daily basis. The rates were, meanwhile, constant for 137 days, from November 2021 till last Tuesday, when they were increased. The rates have practically doubled every day since that day.
