Tamil Nadu government declared the relaxation of all Covid-19-related restrictions that were put in place after COVID-19 outbreaks swept the southern state and the rest of the globe after almost two years. The Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Chennai, has lifted all constraints imposed by the Government of India and the State government to avert COVID-19 occurrences. This is according to the latest statement published by the director-general of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Chennai, dated April 3.

As the COVID-19 conditions have improved significantly across the nation, some states, notably West Bengal, Maharashtra, and Delhi, have opted to relax virus outbreak regulations like as the requirement to use face masks and the prohibition on social events.
