A total of at least half a billion shots of Coronavirus infection (Covid-19) vaccinations have been delivered in the WHO South-East Asia Region, with the bulk of doses administered in India alone, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) on Friday.
As a sign of their dedication to containing the epidemic as soon as possible, countries in the area are making extraordinary trying to attain as many people as possible with the life-saving Covid-19 vaccine.
Dr. Poonam Khetrapal Singh, WHO Regional Director for South-East Asia, said, “We must maintain these efforts and execute public health and social measures with rigor.”
