The government restored normal business activity in Bengaluru on Monday, 5 July with a series of relaxation announced in the aftermath of the second wave of COVID-19 in Bengaluru. The administration has also abolished the weekend curfew – applied from 07:00 pm on Friday to 5:00 am on Monday – but stated it continues to maintain the neighbourhood night curfew.
Full flexibility to operate government and private offices. Shops and other facilities may continue their business hours till 9 p.m. – an extension of four months. Metro Namma and other public transit can also work fully. Swimming pools and sports complexes open from 5 July, however only sports members can access.
