The decision was made at a meeting to discuss the drainage master plan for the nation’s capital. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, Kejriwal presided over the meeting (CMO). On Sunday morning, as Delhi’s air quality fell into the “very poor” category, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal blamed the rise in pollution on stubble burning in neighboring states, saying that governments were “doing nothing” to help farmers stop it.
He urged the governments of Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh to recognize and accept their roles in decreasing stubble burning and pollution.
