Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has stated that children will not be allowed to consider careers as doctors or engineers as long as “madrassas” exist. In another video, he believes that his word (madrassa) should be abolished. A child cannot become a doctor or an engineer as long as this cognitive pattern persists. If a youngster is informed of the outcome, he or she will be unwilling to visit. Human rights violations occur when children are admitted to a madrassa.

Nobody is suggesting don’t teach the Quran, he added (Islamic holy book). Science, math, biology, botany, and zoology should all be taught to students. For 2-3 hours, give religious instruction. In schools, however, students should be taught in such a way that they can become engineers or doctors.
