After a cluster was discovered in a residential school near Electronic City, over 60 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Bengaluru. According to sources, the cluster was discovered at the Sri Chaitanya Girls’ Residential School, and 58 pupils have been quarantined on the campus.
One pupil is claimed to be quarantined at home, while another has been brought to the hospital with a high temperature. Following the discovery of the cases, the school was temporarily closed.
Meanwhile, Karnataka reported 629 new COVID-19 cases and 17 deaths on Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases and deaths to 29.74 lakh and 37,763, respectively, according to the Health Department.
