The road transport ministry has introduced a new registration mark for new vehicles, the ‘BH’ Series, to allow easy transfer of personal automobiles among states (BH-series).

In this regard, the government has announced a new car registration system that will eliminate the need for vehicle owners to re-register their vehicles when they move from one state or union territory to another. According to the plan, personal automobiles will be able to move freely throughout Indian states and union territories when they relocate.

One such endeavor, according to the statement, is an IT-based solution for car registration, because “re-registration of a vehicle while transferring to another state was one of the pain spots in the vehicle registration process that needed attention.”
