The Maharashtra government issued an order on Tuesday permitting those who are completely vaccinated against COVID-19 to ride suburban trains in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, regardless of their occupation (MMR).
The state government has expanded the definition of fully vaccinated people in this decree to include people who work in non-essential industries. This means that those who have received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccination and have been inoculated for 14 days can ride on local trains.
