The chief minister of Tamil Nadu, M.K. Stalin, declared additional relaxation on Sunday in 27 districts while the COVID-19 curfew was prolonged by the government till six on 28 June.
Passers would be permitted without electronic registration to ride in taxis, cabs, and auto-rickshaws in Chennai and neighboring areas such as Chengalpattu and Kancheepuram, and Tiruvallur districts. Except for drivers, just 3 passengers would be permitted in taxis and only two in cars.
Food products, vegetables, and meat vendors are open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. Restaurants and bakeries are only admitted between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m. for package food. It would be possible for all e-commerce firms to service clients from 6 am to 9 pm.
