Property of those spreading rumors and fake news should be confiscated: UP CM Yogi Adityanath

Coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh Amid reports of hospitals and patients facing oxygen crisis, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seized the property of people who spread fake news and “rumors” and ‘spoil the atmosphere’ on social media from the authorities.  Have ordered to take action under the National Security Act. 


 According to The Hindu’s report, Adityanath, in a high-level meeting with officials, under the NSA and the Gangsters Act against “anti-social elements” involved in the drug’s “black marketing”, spreading rumors and trying to tarnish the atmosphere  Instructed to take action. 


 Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday that there is no shortage of medical oxygen in any private or government Kovid hospital in the state.  The Chief Minister also said that the state government, along with various institutions, will conduct an audit regarding this life-saving gas. 

 Yogi Adityanath said these things during an online conversation with the editors of various newspapers.  The Chief Minister said that taking Corona virus like a normal viral fever would be a big mistake. 


 He said, ‘There is no shortage of oxygen in any covid hospital in the state.  The problem is black marketing and hoarding, which will be dealt with vigorously.  

We are going to do an oxygen audit with IIT Kanpur, IIM Lucknow and IIT BHU so that it can be properly monitored.  The Chief Minister said, ‘Every infected patient does not need oxygen, cooperation is expected from the media to spread awareness about it.’
