This morning, a squad of 15 Delhi Police officers arrived in Jaipur to arrest Rajasthan Minister Mahesh Joshi’s son Rohit, who is accused of raping a 23-year-old lady. The police team went to two of the minister’s homes in the city. His son, on the other hand, was never located.

Rohit Joshi was then asked by the Delhi Police to appear before them on May 18. A copy of the summons was put on the wall of the officials’ home. The woman said in her complaint that the minister’s son raped her multiple times between January 8 and April 17 this year, promising to marry her, for which the Delhi Police initially submitted a zero First Information Report or zero FIR.
