State-run oil marketing companies revised the fuel prices today and petrol price has crossed Rs 100-a-litre mark in Mumbai. The Indian Oil Corporation stated that petrol had become expensive by up to 26 paise and diesel by upto 30 paise.
In Delhi, petrol rate has rocketed to Rs 93.94 for a litre and is being sold at Rs 100.19 in the financial capital. Fuel prices have jumped to Rs 93.97 in Kolkata and Rs 95.51 in Chennai.
Diesel price has seen a drastic increase this month. A litre of diesel costs Rs 84.89 in Delhi, Rs 92.17 in Mumbai, Rs 87.74 in Kolkata and Rs 89.65 in Chennai.
