Born in Mau district of Uttar Pradesh, AK Sharma wrote his studies from UP. In 1988, he joined the Civil Service, became an IAS and got a posting in Gujarat. In 1995, he took command of Mehsana, after which he continued to move forward.
However, when Narendra Modi got the command of Gujarat in 2001, then he saw AK Sharma. He was first linked to Sardar Sarovar’s project, then he came to CMO. After the Kutch earthquake, AK Sharma also got the responsibility of grooming, apart from the economic affairs of Gujarat like Vibrant Gujarat, AK Sharma also insisted on bringing investment.
This is the reason why AK Sharma’s confidence in Narendra Modi’s leadership kept growing. When Narendra Modi came to Delhi from Gujarat, AK Sharma was also called here. AK Sharma engaged in infrastructure related projects in Delhi, in which the target of investment of about one hundred lakh crores.
