Indian captain Virat Kohli said on Thursday that there is confusion about Rohit Sharma’s injury and he does not have complete information about the condition of the injury. He also said that he does not know why Rohit did not came to Australia with the rest of the team.
Responding to media queries ahead of the first ODI against Australia on Friday, Kohli said that Rohit was declared unavailable before the selection committee meeting held earlier this month.
Kohli said, ‘We got an email before the selection committee meeting that he is not available. We got to know that he got hurt during the IPL. And he has been given information related to the injury and he has understood and will be unavailable. ‘
