Jammu and Kashmir: 84-hour lockdown in these 11 districts

The government has announced a lockdown to overcome the increasing pace of corona infection in the state. 

 Which will be effective from 7 pm on Thursday evening to 7 am on Monday morning.  11 districts of the state have been kept under lockdown.

 These include Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramula, Budgam, Kulgam, Pulwama, Ganderbal, Jammu, Kathua, Reasi and Udhampur.  This has been confirmed by Simrandeep Singh, Secretary, Disaster Management, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction.

 Explain that the situation is becoming increasingly serious with covid in Jammu and Kashmir.  For the first time in the state on Tuesday, 3164 people were infected in a single day, of which 1030 were from Jammu division and the remaining 2134 were from Kashmir.  28 people also died.  The active cases have increased to 22283 in the state.
