Twitter’s  Manish Maheshwari, India’s Managing Director, has lodged a court case in the Karnataka High Court, contesting the police notice under Section 41A. He was called in for questioning in connection with the assault on a Muslim guy in Ghaziabad.

Maheshwari was due to meet the Ghaziabad Police on Thursday, but sources claim he may not make it to the Loni Border police station to participate in the investigation. However, no formal or written communication has been received from Twitter.

According to the Hindustan Times, Maheshwari and his lawyer were scheduled to arrive at Loni Kotwali around 10.30 a.m.
