After making the necessary safety improvements, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approved the Boeing 737 Max to operate in Indian airspace again on Thursday. After two crashes in less than five months, Boeing 737 Max jets were grounded worldwide in March 2019.
Regulators in various nations, including the United States, the European Union, and the United Arab Emirates, recently authorized these planes to fly again after receiving mandatory hardware and software changes for safety. Kumar’s order laid the groundwork for permitting Max to fly in India once more.
