On Sunday, a landslide on the Sangla-Chitkul route in Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district massacred nine people and wounded four more.
The event occurred on the Sangla-Chitkul route near Batseri. The deceased were on their way from Chitkula to Sangla when stones fell on their car. The van carried 11 persons, including the driver. In the event, another individual on the road was also hurt.
The nine people that died were not all close relatives. Officials stated that the names of the deceased visitors are being determined.
