The Congress, on Friday, asserted that the Bihar election results reveal large-scale vote manipulation allegedly orchestrated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and the Election Commission.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge stated that although the party respects the verdict of the people of Bihar, it will persist in resisting forces that, according to him, weaken democratic institutions through the misuse of constitutional bodies.
He noted that the party will thoroughly review the Bihar results and offer a comprehensive explanation after examining the factors that influenced the outcome. Kharge expressed deep gratitude to voters who supported the mahagathbandhan and encouraged Congress workers to remain motivated, calling them the party’s strength and pride.
Kharge reaffirmed that the Congress will intensify efforts to raise public awareness and remain committed to protecting the Constitution and democratic values He emphasized that the struggle is long but, will be pursued with dedication, courage, and honesty.
Congress communication in-charge Jairam Ramesh echoed these claims, stating that the Bihar verdict clearly reflects massive vote rigging and accusing the top leadership of the central government, the Election Commission of enabling it. He added that the party will strengthen its campaign to safeguard democracy and uphold constitutional principles.
