Dismissed According to the charge-sheet submitted by the National Investigation Agency, Mumbai police officer Sachin Waze devised the Antilia bomb scare to re-establish himself as a supercop by fabricating a terrorist threat and staging a confrontation.
Waze, who was returned to the Mumbai police after a 16-year suspension in June 2020, wants to “regain his clout” as an encounter specialist and ace detective, according to the investigation agency more than 1,000-page charge sheet presented in a Mumbai court last week.
