Mumbai | The Mumbai Police crime branch investigating the death of entrepreneur Rohit Arya recorded the statement of his wife Anjali on Tuesday.

A police team travelled to Pune where her statement was taken for more than two and a half hours according to an official.
Anjali shared details about Arya’s Swachchta Monitor initiative designed for school students and mentioned an alleged pending payment from the government related to the project.
She also submitted several documents to assist the investigation.
Rohit Arya was killed in retaliatory police firing during the rescue operation of seventeen children and two adults whom he had held inside a Powai studio on October 30.
Police confirmed that Anjali was in Ahmedabad when the incident took place.
