Abhishek Banerjee, the general secretary of the Trinamool Congress, asked the Congress on Wednesday to take to the streets against the BJP rather than engage in “armchair politics.”
The suggestion comes just days after a young TMC Turk chastised Congress for reportedly failing to mount a meaningful challenge to the saffron movement. Banerjee stated that if Congress is unable to battle the BJP, the TMC will do so and defeat the saffron party.
The consultancy stressed that it has always followed high standards of professional integrity and accountability.
Congress spokesperson Suman Roy Chaudhuri echoed similar concerns, questioning the role of the police administration and demanding legal action.
