Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aunt Narmadaben Modi has died due to corona infection. She was 80 years old. She was undergoing treatment at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad.
Narmadaben used to live with her children in the New Ranip area of the city.
PM Modi’s younger brother Prahlada Modi said that our aunt Narmadaben has passed away. She was admitted to the civil hospital 10 days ago due to a corona infection. Her condition was continuously deteriorating due to infection. She breathed her last today.
There were 265 more deaths due to corona virus in Uttar Pradesh, 32,993 new cases were received.
Prahlada Modi said that Narmada Ben’s husband and his uncle Jagjivan Das Modi had passed away long ago. He was the younger brother of PM Modi’s father Damodardas Modi.
