In the previous 24 hours, India has reported at least 3,303 new coronavirus cases, bringing the overall number of infections to 4,30,68,799. The number of active cases has risen to 16,980, as per the Union Health Ministry, with 701 additional active cases reported in a 24-hour period.
Today, 39 people died throughout the country, increasing the overall number of Covid-related deaths to 5,23,693. According to the government, active cases account for 0.04 percent of total infections, with a countrywide COVID-19 recovery rate of 98.74 percent.
