Faceoff: Minority killings in Kashmir have sparked indignation and anger

Terrorists shot and murdered two teachers in a government school in Srinagar’s Eidgah neighborhood on Thursday, including a woman, police said. Satinder Kaur and Deepak Chand, members of the region’s minority Sikh and Hindu cultures, were among the victims.

Terrorists shot and killed a street hawker named Virender Paswan and a pharmacy shop owner named Makahn Lal Bindroo in Srinagar earlier on Wednesday.

Recent incidences of targeting civilians, primarily non-Muslim minorities, have elicited a great deal of resentment and outrage among Twitter users. Many are stating that it appears to be a repeat of the 1990s in Kashmir, when local and Pakistani-backed terrorists perpetrated ethnic cleansing and genocide against Kashmiri Pandits.
