In recent months, Seychelles, Mongolia, Chile, and Bahrain have depended on China’s vaccine diplomacy to accelerate their immunization efforts and return to a state of routine in the face of a pandemic. The four nations have given at least one dose of the vaccine to a sizable proportion of their people, ranging from 58.7 percent in Mongolia to almost 72 percent in Seychelles.

Nonetheless, they are now dealing with a new increase of Covid-19 infections, which scientists believe should not be happening. According to some scientists, one of the main reasons might be the vaccinations themselves. The millions of doses distributed by China to countries in recent times may be ineffective in limiting the coronavirus illness, especially when confronted with novel virus types that have sparked outbreaks throughout the world.
