The total number of Coronavirus cases in India crossed 26,000 on Saturday, with a large number of new COVID-19 positive cases surging from Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, among other states and Union Territories. The Central government claimed that the daily growth rate of the virus declined by 6 per cent in the country.
According to the latest update by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Coronavirus positive cases in India have risen to 26,496, while the death toll has risen to 824, as per the Union Health Ministry figures.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio broadcast ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is scheduled for today. PM Modi will also be interacting with chief ministers of various states on Monday.
