COVID-19 cases in India soars up to 24,506; death toll 775

The total number of coronavirus cases in India has raised to 24,506. Including 18,668 active coronavirus cases and 5062 patients are reported cured/discharged. 775 people have died due to the virus in India, while one patient has been migrated.

India recorded the biggest spike on Friday in the coronavirus infection in a single day, with 1,752 fresh cases being registered taking the total count of infected people to 23,452.

However,it is seen that, the doubling rate of COVID-19 has improved to 10 days from 7.5 reported earlier this week, according to the Health Ministry.
