What causes White Fungus?
According to Dr. Kumar, it can be caused to people with low immunity. It can also be caused when someone comes in contact with anything that has the modules of the fungus. It has also been advised that sanitation is very necessary to avoid it. It has covid like symptoms but people test negative to Covid. It can be diagnosed through CT scan or X-ray. It not only affects lungs but other parts such as nails, skin, stomach, kidney, brain, genitals and mouth. According to the doctor, Covid-19 patients are more prone to it since the symptoms and affected organs are similar.
Cases of white fungus have been found in Patna, Bihar and it is more dangerous than black fungus. Just as the Government was notifying people regarding black fungus, white fungus is the new upcoming crisis.
