Two children are killed when a four-story structure in Malkaganj, Delhi, collapses
Late Monday morning, a four-story structure in Malkaganj, near Subzi Mandi, in north Delhi fell. Two brothers were rescued from the rubble, but they were pronounced dead at Bada Hindu Rao hospital. One individual was rescued and taken to the hospital for treatment.
As per police and fire department authorities, a car parked nearby was severely damaged when rubble from the building fell on it. At 11.50 a.m., the fire control room received a call about a building fall in Malkaganj, according to Delhi Fire Services (DFS) head Atul Garg. Five fire tenders and rescue crews were first dispatched to the scene. He added that two more fire tenders were dispatched later.
