The Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University praised the Delhi Disaster Management Authority’s (DDMA) standard operating procedures (SOP) on Wednesday and stated that a final decision to reopen colleges in a phased manner would be made this week.
The VC further stated that a final decision on the phased reopening would be made in the following five to six days because the university needs to plan how to accommodate students from other states in the hostels.
He further stated that the university would ensure that students who intend to attend classes in the offline mode are vaccinated and that the vaccination of DU faculty is nearly complete.
