The extended Bengaluru Metro line between Mysore Road and Kengeri was launched on Sunday in Bengaluru by Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Union Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri.
According to Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) officials, the 7.5-kilometer Western Extension Line of Namma Metro, which runs from Mysore Road Metro Station to Kengeri Metro Stations, would open to the public on Monday. Today’s inauguration of the western extension metro line is a step in achieving the goals of Bengaluru Mission 2022, which include enabling speedier commutes and smart transportation options in the city, according to BMRCL officials.
