The Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Ashwathnarayan CN launched an initiatve today under which the covid patients will receive oxygen concentrators at home in Bengaluru. The initiative partners are Ola and GiveIndia foundation. The concentrators will only be given to the patients whose oxygen level would be less than 94 percent.
The patient needs to log into the Ola app and provide some basic details and has to request for an oxygen concentrator. After the validation of the request, Ola will pick up the concentrator and will bring it to the doorstep within 30 minutes and entirely free of cost. Once the patient has fulfilled its needs, Ola will pick up the concentrator and then deliver it again to the GiveIndia foundation. Although the beneficiaries will have to pay Rs. 5000, it will be totally refundable.
