After the session of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) on Sunday (March 13), the Congress party confirmed that Sonia Gandhi will resume heading the grand old party as the president. “Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of Congress, will supervise us and take next moves. We all have trust in her ability to lead,” after the party’s executive committee hearing, Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said to ANI.

Sonia Gandhi, the interim president of the Congress, attended a meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) at the AICC office to address the electoral catastrophe in all five states as well as the present political scenario.
