The Kashmir Files, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, is causing a stir throughout the nation, with images of Kashmiri Pandit people and others leaving theatres weepy going popular on social media. However, on Sunday, as a result of a Vivek Agnihotri tweet in which the film director of ‘The Kashmir Files’ stated that ‘they’ (creators of The Kapil Sharma Show) refused to call the film’s cast and content producers on their show as the film lacks a big commercial celebrity,’ the hashtag ‘Boycott Kapil Sharma Show’ began gaining in popularity on social media.
Vivek Agnihotri, his actress-wife Pallavi Joshi, and the film’s producer Abhishek Agarwal briefly met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister complimented them and commended the film.
