The Congress will evacuate its Sevadal office at 26 Akbar Road in New Delhi soon after obtaining directives from the Directorate of Estates. The Party has already been given substitute land on Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in Delhi, where the new edifice is being built. Regardless of the fact that the deadline for departing the office has been extended multiple times owing to construction delays caused by the COVID outbreak, the new location is still under construction.
However, provisional cabins will be built at AICC headquarters for AICC Secretaries whose offices have been assigned to 26, Akbar Road.
