Rahul Gandhi, the former Congress president, accused Twitter of intervening in India’s political process on Friday, calling the social media network biassed.
Mr. Gandhi claimed in his first video statement about Twitter banning his account that the company only listened to the government. After he shared a photo of the parents of a 9-year-old girl who was allegedly raped and murdered in Delhi, Twitter suspended his account last week.
Since last week’s move against Mr. Gandhi, Twitter India has suspended tens of thousands of accounts linked to the Congress, including the official party account and the accounts of over two dozen key figures.
