In Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party is ahead in the majority of the seats, with chief ministerial contender Bhagwant Mann dominating while current CM Charanjit Singh Channi trails in both of his seats. Navjot Singh Sidhu, a Congress politician who is losing his position, complimented the AAP on its win and said he recognizes the citizens’ choices. According to the latest counts, several experienced leaders such as Amarinder Singh, Prakash Singh Badal, and Sukhbir Singh Badal are on the verge of loss.

Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, stating the lead, “Iss Inquilab ke liye Punjab ke logon ko bahut bahut badhai (congratulations to the people of Punjab for this revolution).”
